The Mineral Point Pointers softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Fennimore Golden Eagles to 3 in the Pointers league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Mineral Point moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Pointers host Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI) to clash with the Panthers in a SWAL game on Thursday, April 18. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 5-4.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the Platteville Hillmen (Platteville, WI) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 16. Fennimore will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record.
