Rhode Island High School Baseball - Narragansett wallops Prout

The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI) and the host Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI), saw Narragansett's baseball team gain a win over Prout by a tally of 10-0.

The Mariners (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Chargers enter the Division 2 battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Chariho was overwhelmed by Burrillville (Harrisville, RI), 15-10, in a league battle.

Next, the Crusaders face the East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI) in a Division 2 battle, on Thursday, April 17. Prout will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Avengers enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 6-1 league win over Toll Gate (Warwick, RI).
