The Prout Crusaders baseball squad (Wakefield, RI), was overwhelmed 9-4 in Sunday's league contest with the host Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI)

With the triumph, Narragansett moves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Mariners host Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI) to confront the Chargers in a Division 2 contest on Tuesday, April 29. The Chargers come into the contest with a record of 5-5. Chariho lost 6-4 in their recent non-league contest against Stonington (Stonington, CT)

The Crusaders now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middletown for a Division 2 contest on Monday, April 28. Prout will confront a Islanders squad coming off a 8-3 league loss to Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Islanders record now stands at 3-5.
