Ohio High School Baseball - Portsmouth holds off South Point

April 15, 2025: South Point, OH 45680

The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Portsmouth Trojans (Portsmouth, OH) and the host South Point Pointers (South Point, OH), saw Portsmouth's baseball team gain a win over South Point by a tally of 6-2.

The Trojans (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Rock Hill (Ironton, OH). The Redmen enter the Ohio Valley battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Rock Hill was overwhelmed by Fairland (Proctorville, OH), 11-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Pointers face the Fairland Dragons (Proctorville, OH) in a Ohio Valley battle, on Wednesday, April 16. South Point will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Dragons enter the battle with a 4-6 record after their 11-1 league win over Rock Hill (Ironton, OH).
