Ohio High School Baseball - Portsmouth loses to South Point

In Friday's league bout, the South Point Pointers (South Point, OH) baseball squad the host Portsmouth Trojans (Portsmouth, OH), by a tally of 8-5.

Next up, the Pointers encounter the Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH) in a Ohio Valley bout, on Monday, May 12. South Point will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 9-11 record after their 10-0 league win over Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH).

The Trojans (12-5) will now prepare for their bout against Fairland (Proctorville, OH). The Dragons enter the Ohio Valley bout with a 5-15 record. In their last bout, Fairland by Spring Valley (Huntington, WV), 14-4, in a non-league bout.
