Virginia High School Baseball - Staunton nips Waynesboro

April 15, 2025: Staunton, VA 24401

The Staunton Storm baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Waynesboro Little Giants to 4 in the Storm league win on Tuesday.

The Storm now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverheads for a Shenandoah test on Thursday, April 17. Staunton will play a Gladiators team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA). The Gladiators record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Waynesboro drops to 2-6 on the year. The Little giants host Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA) to play the Bison in a Shenandoah contest on Thursday, April 17. The Bison come into the contest with a record of 5-7. Buffalo Gap lost 19-0 in their recent league contest against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA)
