The East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans lacrosse squad scored 19 points and limited the visiting Auburn Maroons to 12 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Baldwinsville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 22.

With the loss, Auburn falls to 2-3 on the year. The Maroons travel to Marcellus (Marcellus, NY) to clash with the Mustangs in a Section 3 OHSL Liberty challenge on Saturday, April 19. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Marcellus lost 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Victor (Victor, NY)
