The Allen County-Scottsville Patriots softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Bowling Green Purples to 0 in the Patriots non-league win on Tuesday.

The Patriots now possess a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barren County for a District 15 battle on Thursday, April 17. Allen County-Scottsville will confront a Trojans team coming off a 10-4 league win over Warren East (Bowling Green, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Bowling Green moves to 7-7 on the season. The Purples travel to South Warren (Bowling Green, KY) to confront the Spartans in a District 14 battle on Thursday, April 17. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 13-2. South Warren won 20-0 in their recent non-league battle against Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY)
