Clarendon Broncos (Clarendon, TX) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Floydada Whirlwinds (Floydada, TX), 2-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Clarendon upgrades its record to 20-5 on the year. The Broncos travel to Highland Park (Amarillo, TX) to play the Hornets in a non-league game on Friday, April 18. The Hornets enter the game with a record of 5-16.

The Whirlwinds now own a 23-6 record. They play next when they travel to Quanah for a 2A Region I District 2 game on Friday, April 18.
