New Mexico High School Softball - Roswell bounces Hobbs

In Tuesday's league match, the host Roswell Coyotes softball team scored a tight 9-3 victory over the Hobbs Eagles.
The Coyotes (5-11) will now prepare for their match against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Cavemen/Cavegirls go into the 5A District 4 match with a 10-6 record. In their last match, Carlsbad tipped Clovis (Clovis, NM), 15-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM) in a 5A District 4 match, on Thursday, April 17. Hobbs will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the match with a 1-15 record after their 15-0 league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM).
