In Friday's league test, the Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) softball squad overwhelmed the host Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM), by a tally of 9-4.
Next, the Coyotes clash with the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) in a 5A District 4 test, on Friday, April 25. Roswell will attempt to advance on its 8-14 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 10-9 record after their 10-5 league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM).
The Eagles (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Roswell (Roswell, NM). The Coyotes go into the 5A District 4 test with a 7-13 record. In their last test, Roswell held off Clovis (Clovis, NM), 19-2, in a league test.
