Ohio High School Softball - Ironton South Point

South Point Pointers (South Point, OH) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Ironton Fighting Tigers (Ironton, OH), 5-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, South Point improves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Pointers host Fairland (Proctorville, OH) to play the Dragons in a Ohio Valley game on Wednesday, April 16. The Dragons enter the game with a record of 0-11.

The Fighting Tigers now hold a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Dawson-Bryant for a Ohio Valley game on Wednesday, April 16. Ironton will play a Hornets squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Fairland (Proctorville, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 6-3.
