Ohio High School Softball - Ironton bounces South Point

April 18, 2025: Ironton, OH 45638

In Friday's league match, the host Ironton Fighting Tigers softball team scored a nice 15-5 win over the South Point Pointers.

The Fighting Tigers (11-3) will now prepare for their match against Loris (Loris, SC). The Lions come into the non-league match with a 9-8 record. In their last match, Loris was routed by Pee Dee Academy (Mullins, SC), 3-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Pointers battle the Chesapeake Panthers (Chesapeake, OH) in a Ohio Valley match, on Monday, April 21. South Point will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 4-10 record after their 12-2 league loss to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH).
