The McLoughlin Pioneers (Milton-Freewater, OR) softball routed the visiting Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR), 13-3 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Pioneers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Umatilla for a 3A Special District 2 outing on Tuesday, April 22. McLoughlin will encounter a Vikings team coming off a 22-0 league loss to Enterprise/Joseph (Enterprise, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Riverside moves to 1-5 on the season. The Pirates travel to Burns (Burns, OR) to encounter the Hilanders in a 3A Special District 2 outing on Friday, April 18. The Hilanders come into the outing with a record of 6-2. Burns won 6-4 in their recent league outing against Nyssa (Nyssa, OR)
