The McLoughlin Pioneers (Milton-Freewater, OR) softball routed the host Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR), 16-0 in Tuesday's league outing.
The Pioneers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ontario for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 10. McLoughlin will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Burns (Burns, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Riverside moves to 1-4 on the season. The Pirates travel to McLoughlin (Milton-Freewater, OR) to encounter the Pioneers in a 3A Special District 2 outing on Tuesday, April 15. The Pioneers come into the outing with a record of 3-1.
