The Rutherford Bulldogs softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Secaucus Patriots to 0 in the Bulldogs league win on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Mary for a NJIC - National battle on Wednesday, April 16. Rutherford will confront a Gaels team coming off a 13-0 league win over North Arlington (North Arlington, NJ). The Gaels record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Secaucus moves to 1-3 on the season. The Patriots host Ridgefield Memorial (Ridgefield, NJ) to confront the Royals in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 19. The Royals come into the battle with a record of 3-4. Ridgefield Memorial won 8-6 in their recent non-league battle against North Arlington (North Arlington, NJ)
