New Mexico High School Softball - Pojoaque Valley bounces Moriarty

The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes routed the host Moriarty Pintos softball squad by a final score of 20-13 in Saturday's league battle.

The Elks/Elkettes (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers go into the 4A District 2 battle with a 15-7 record. In their last battle, Los Alamos held off Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM), 21-14, in a league battle.

The Pintos now possess a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Los Alamos for a 4A District 2 battle on Saturday, April 23.
