With the win, Laney upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Buccaneers host South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to battle the Cougars in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Friday, April 19. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 9-8. South Brunswick won 4-3 in their recent league test against Ashley (Wilmington, NC)

With the defeat, North Brunswick falls to 10-7 on the season. The Scorpions host Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to battle the Pirates in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Friday, April 19. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 9-7. Topsail won 5-1 in their recent league test against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC)
