The Patton Panthers lacrosse squad (Morganton, NC), was overwhelmed 9-5 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC)
Coming up next, the Cougars meet the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles (Rabun Gap, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 17. Asheville will attempt to improve on its 11-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 19-1 non-league loss to Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC).
The Panthers now sport a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Hickory for a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills challenge on Thursday, April 18. Patton will meet a Red Tornadoes squad coming off a 15-13 league loss to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 4-6.
