Bridgeport Bulls (Bridgeport, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX), 9-6 in a league challenge.

The Bulls now own a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host Springtown for a 4A Region I District 8 challenge on Friday, April 19. Bridgeport will battle a Porcupines squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Krum (Krum, TX). The Porcupines record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Decatur falls to 8-18 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX) to battle the Bullfrogs in a 4A Region I District 8 challenge on Friday, April 19. The Bullfrogs enter the challenge with a record of 9-18. Lake Worth lost 9-8 in their recent league challenge against Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX)
