Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Harmony Eagles (Big Sandy, TX), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they host Winnsboro for a 3A Region II District 13 challenge on Friday, April 19. Quitman will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to Mineola (Mineola, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 18-7.

With the loss, Harmony falls to 7-17 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 3A Region II District 13 challenge on Friday, April 19. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 12-7. Mount Vernon won 19-0 in their recent league challenge against Winona (Winona, TX)
