Pennsylvania High School Softball - Milton knocked off by Shamokin Area

In Tuesday's league contest, the Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Milton Black Panthers (Milton, PA), by a margin of 12-2.

With the triumph, Shamokin Area moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA) to play the Wildcats in a Heartland II contest on Thursday, April 18. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 6-2. Mifflinburg won 10-1 in their recent league contest against Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA)

In their next game, the Black Panthers play the Lewisburg Green Dragons (Lewisburg, PA) in a Heartland II contest, on Thursday, April 18. Milton will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Green Dragons come into the contest with a 0-8 record after their 16-5 league loss to Montoursville (Montoursville, PA).
