The Newton-Conover Red Devils softball team (Newton, NC), was routed 15-0 in Tuesday's league test with the host West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC)
Coming up next, the Rebels clash with the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 17. West Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 6-11 record after their 7-0 league loss to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC).
The Red Devils (0-10) will now prepare for their bout against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 4-10 record. In their last bout, St. Stephens was routed by East Lincoln (Denver, NC), 9-3, in a league bout.
