The Volcano Vista Hawks softball team (Albuquerque, NM), was routed 13-3 in Tuesday's league test with the host Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM)
Coming up next, the Rams clash with the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 1 test, on Friday, April 19. Rio Rancho will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 8-14 record after their 9-8 league loss to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM).
The Hawks (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors come into the non-league test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Sandia overcame Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 18-3, in a league test.
