North Carolina High School Softball - Ashe County bounces North Iredell

In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Ashe County Huskies softball team scored a nice 16-1 victory over the North Iredell Raiders.

The Huskies (8-2) will now prepare for their match against North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, North Iredell gained a win over Statesville (Statesville, NC), 18-3, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 16. North Iredell will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Huskies go into the match with a 6-2 record after their 18-2 league win over Hibriten (Lenoir, NC).
