California High School Softball - Kearny sneaks past La Jolla

April 16, 2025: San Diego, CA 92111

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Kearny Komets softball team scored a tight 22-21 win over the La Jolla Vikings.

The Komets (4-9) will now prepare for their match against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Monarchs come into the non-league match with a 0-8 record. In their last match, Monte Vista was nipped by El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA), 20-9, in a league match.

In their next game, the Vikings confront the High Tech SD Storm (San Diego, CA) in a City Central match, on Friday, April 18. La Jolla will attempt to better on its 3-11 season record. The Storm come into the match with a 6-5 record after their 20-6 league loss to Lincoln (San Diego, CA).
