In Friday's league test, the La Jolla Vikings (La Jolla, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Kearny Komets (San Diego, CA), by a count of 18-7.

Next, the Vikings meet the High Tech SD Storm (San Diego, CA) in a City Central test, on Wednesday, May 7. La Jolla will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Storm go into the test with a 8-8 record after their 20-3 league loss to Lincoln (San Diego, CA).

The Komets (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Hoover (San Diego, CA). The Cardinals go into the City Central test with a 4-14 record.
