Arizona High School Softball - St. Johns bounces Valley

The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the St. Johns Redskins (St. Johns, AZ) and the host Valley Pirates (Sanders, AZ), observed St. Johns's softball team notch a victory over Valley by a final score of 28-6.

The Redskins (16-4) will now prepare for their bout against Anthem Prep (Anthem, AZ). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 11-6 record. In their last bout, Anthem Prep gained a win over Antelope (Wellton, AZ), 11-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Hopi Bruins (Keams Canyon, AZ) in a 2A North bout, on Friday, April 18. Valley will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 24-7 non-league loss to Tuba City (Tuba City, AZ).
