Virginia High School Baseball - Covington loses to Buffalo Gap

The Buffalo Gap Bison crushed the visiting Covington Cougars baseball team by a tally of 14-5 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Bison now hold a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Staunton for a Shenandoah bout on Tuesday, April 18. Buffalo Gap will face a Storm team coming off a 14-2 league loss to Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Storm record now stands at 1-9.

Next, the Cougars face the Highland Rams (Monterey, VA) in a Pioneer bout, on Tuesday, April 18. Covington will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 4-4 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Blue Ridge Christian (Bridgewater, VA).
