Virginia High School Baseball - Buffalo Gap wallops Covington

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) and the host Covington Cougars (Covington, VA), saw Buffalo Gap's baseball squad knock off Covington by a count of 11-0.

Coming up next, the Bison play the Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) in a Shenandoah battle, on Thursday, April 27. Buffalo Gap will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 6-7 record after their 7-4 league win over Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA).

The Cougars now possess a 2-14 record. They take the field next when they host Bath County for a Pioneer battle on Tuesday, May 2.
