The Booneville Blue Devils softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Ripley Tigers to 3 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Booneville moves its record to 11-4 on the year.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the North Pontotoc Vikings (Ecru, MS) in a 4A Region 2 game, on Tuesday, April 18. Ripley will attempt to move on its 8-15 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 5-6 record after their 10-2 league loss to Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS).
