The South View Tigers softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Pine Forest Trojans to 2 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, South View moves its record to 15-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC) to play the Rams in a United Eight 3A/4A game on Tuesday, April 18. The Rams come into the game with a record of 8-11. Purnell Swett won 12-4 in their recent non-league game against Hoke County (Raeford, NC)

In their next game, the Trojans play the Terry Sanford Bulldogs (Fayetteville, NC) in a All American 3A/4A game, on Tuesday, April 18. Pine Forest will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 1-12 record after their 20-0 league loss to Western Harnett (Lillington, NC).
