In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Westbrook Blue Blazes lacrosse squad scored a good 14-5 triumph over the Deering Rams.
The Blue Blazes (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bangor (Bangor, ME). The Rams go into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Rams clash with the Noble Knights (North Berwick, ME) in a Class A challenge, on Thursday, April 24. Deering will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
