The Westbrook Blue Blazes lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the visiting Deering Rams to 8 in the Blue Blazes non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Blue Blazes now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gorham for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 19. Westbrook will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 17-6 league win over Noble (North Berwick, ME). The Rams record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Deering falls to 1-7 on the year. The Rams host Portland (Portland, ME) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Class A challenge on Wednesday, May 21. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Portland lost 9-8 in their recent league challenge against South Portland (South Portland, ME)
