The Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) lacrosse routed the visiting Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI), 11-6 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Chieftains now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scituate for a Division 4 outing on Tuesday, April 22. Ponaganset will face a Spartans squad coming off a 20-2 league win over Cranston East (Cranston, RI). The Spartans record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Burrillville falls to 0-3 on the year. The Broncos travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI) to face the Lions in a Division 3 outing on Tuesday, April 22. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 3-1.
