The Ponaganset Chieftains lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the host Burrillville Broncos to 2 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Chieftains now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Scituate for a Division 4 challenge on Sunday, May 18. Ponaganset will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 18-1 league win over North Providence (North Providence, RI). The Spartans record now stands at 13-0.

With the loss, Burrillville falls to 2-12 on the year. The Broncos host Toll Gate (Warwick, RI) to clash with the Titans in a Division 3 challenge on Monday, May 19. The Titans go into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Toll Gate lost 15-1 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln (Lincoln, RI)
