Virginia High School Softball - Varina bounces Armstrong

The Varina Blue Devils softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Armstrong Wildcats to 5 in the Blue Devils league win on Thursday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mechanicsville for a Capital battle on Monday, April 21. Varina will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 10-5 league loss to Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Armstrong moves to 1-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Henrico (Richmond, VA) to confront the Warriors in a Capital battle on Friday, April 25. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 2-4.
