The Varina Blue Devils softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Armstrong Wildcats to 7 in the Blue Devils league win on Friday.

The Blue Devils now possess a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Henrico for a Capital battle on Tuesday, May 13. Varina will confront a Warriors team coming off a 16-6 non-league win over John Marshall (Richmond, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-9.
