The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY) and the visiting Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY), observed Cumberland County's softball team get by Clinton County by a tally of 5-1.

The Panthers (5-6) will now prepare for their bout against Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY). The Falcons go into the bout with a 2-6 record. In their last bout, Monroe County was routed by Clinton County (Albany, KY), 11-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Cookeville Cavaliers (Cookeville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 19. Clinton County will attempt to advance on its 15-6 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 5-13 record after their 8-7 league loss to Wilson Central (Lebanon, TN).
