Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY), 3-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Clinton County improves its record to 20-7 on the year. The Bulldogs host Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY) to face the Hornets in a District 16 game on Thursday, May 1. The Hornets enter the game with a record of 5-8.

The Panthers now hold a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Russell County for a District 16 game on Thursday, May 1.
