New Mexico High School Softball - Hobbs bounces Clovis

In Thursday's league match, the host Hobbs Eagles softball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Clovis Wildcats.
The Eagles (10-7) will now prepare for their match against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Cavemen/Cavegirls go into the 5A District 4 match with a 12-6 record. In their last match, Carlsbad gained a win over Roswell (Roswell, NM), 17-4, in a league match.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) in a 5A District 4 match, on Tuesday, April 22. Clovis will attempt to better on its 1-17 season record. The Coyotes go into the match with a 5-13 record after their 17-4 league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM).
