The Hobbs Eagles softball team scored 18 runs and held the host Clovis Wildcats to 3 in the Eagles league win on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carlsbad for a 5A District 4 battle on Thursday, May 1. Hobbs will confront a Cavemen/Cavegirls team coming off a 1-0 league win over Roswell (Roswell, NM). The Cavemen/Cavegirls record now stands at 18-6.

With the loss, Clovis moves to 1-23 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Roswell (Roswell, NM) to confront the Coyotes in a 5A District 4 battle on Friday, May 2. The Coyotes come into the battle with a record of 8-16. Roswell lost 1-0 in their recent league battle against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM)
