North Carolina High School Baseball - West Rowan sneaks past East Rowan

April 18, 2023: Mt. Ulla, NC 28125

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) and the visiting East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC), observed West Rowan's baseball squad edge East Rowan by a margin of 7-6.

Coming up next, the Falcons encounter the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 19. West Rowan will attempt to better on its 12-5 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 16-4 record after their 9-1 league win over Watauga (Boone, NC).

The Mustangs now sport a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Norman for a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 19. East Rowan will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-11.
