The Sidwell Friends Quakers baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Maret Frogs to 2 in the Quakers league victory on Tuesday.
The Quakers (9-4) will now prepare for their match against Georgetown Day (Washington, DC). The Mighty Hoppers go into the Mid-Atlantic-MAC match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Georgetown Day was overwhelmed by Flint Hill (Oakton, VA), 8-6, in a league match.
The Frogs (8-5) will now prepare for their match against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD). The Lions go into the Mid-Atlantic-MAC match with a 2-10 record. In their last match, St. Andrew's Episcopal was overwhelmed by Potomac School (McLean, VA), 14-1, in a league match.
