North Carolina High School Lacrosse - New Hanover drops to Laney

In Tuesday's league test, the host Laney Buccaneers lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-6 victory over the New Hanover Wildcats.
The Buccaneers now have a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they host South Brunswick for a Mideastern test on Friday, April 21. Laney will face a Cougars squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-12.
The Wildcats (8-6) will now prepare for their game against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates enter the Mideastern game with a 12-3 record. In their last game, Topsail edged West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 15-4, in a league game.
