Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA), 6-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Colonels face the Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA) in a Blue Ridge challenge, on Friday, April 21. Fleming will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Glenvar (Salem, VA).

The Cavaliers now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Brookville for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 19. Lord Botetourt will face a Bees team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Bees record now stands at 0-5.
