The Draughn Wildcats softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Rosman Tigers to 5 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Draughn moves its record to 16-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to McDowell (Marion, NC) to clash with the Titans in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 19. The Titans come into the game with a record of 9-6. McDowell lost 5-3 in their recent league game against T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) in a Western Highlands 1A/2A game, on Friday, April 21. Rosman will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 16-3 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to McDowell (Marion, NC).
