New Mexico High School Softball - Grants loses to St. Pius X

The St. Pius X Sartans softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Grants Pirates to 2 in the Sartans league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, St. Pius X moves its record to 14-6 on the year. The Sartans travel to Valencia (Los Lunas, NM) to clash with the Jaguars in a 4A District 5 game on Thursday, April 20. The Jaguars come into the game with a record of 6-14. Valencia lost 8-3 in their recent non-league game against Valley (Albuquerque, NM)
Coming up next, the Pirates encounter the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 5 test, on Thursday, April 20. Grants will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Hornets enter the test with a 0-21 record after their 15-0 league loss to Belen (Belen, NM).
