In Thursday's league test, the Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM), by a count of 14-0.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM) in a 4A District 3 test, on Thursday, April 18. Deming will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Lobos go into the test with a 6-9 record after their 21-8 non-league loss to Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM).
The Lobos (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Deming (Deming, NM). The Wildcats go into the 4A District 3 test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Deming was routed by Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM), 13-0, in a non-league test.
