North Carolina High School Softball - Southern Nash bounces Rocky Mount

Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Southern Nash Firebirds (Bailey, NC) and the host Rocky Mount Gryphons (Rocky Mount, NC), witnessed Southern Nash's softball squad prevail over Rocky Mount by a count of 16-0.

The Firebirds now sport a 15-0 record. They play next when they travel to Ayden - Grifton for a non-league match on Monday, April 22. Southern Nash will face a Chargers squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Rocky Mount moves to 0-17 on the season. The Gryphons travel to Franklinton (Franklinton, NC) to face the Rams in a The Big East 2A/3A match on Tuesday, April 23.
